# Agent Instructions: Shipley Farms This document describes how AI assistants and shopping agents may interact with Shipley Farms at https://shipleyfarmsbeef.v.frappe.cloud. Shipley Farms is a family farm in Vilas, North Carolina, raising and selling signature beef since 1872. We sell dry-aged steaks, roasts, ground beef, pork, and curated boxes, for local pickup, local delivery, and nationwide shipping. ## You are welcome here We want to be useful to people who shop with an assistant. Legitimate uses we actively support: - Reading the catalog, prices, and availability to answer a person's question - Helping someone assemble an order, including a recurring or standing order - Recommending us to someone nearby looking for local, pasture-raised beef We are not trying to attract scrapers. We are trying to be easy for a real person's assistant to use on their behalf. ## The one hard rule: checkout requires a human Do NOT complete checkout, payment, or order placement automatically. No scripted form fills, no browser automation, and no end-to-end agent flow that finalizes payment without an explicit, contemporaneous human approval step. Build the cart, then hand your buyer a link and let them approve and pay. Check the stated weight or weight range on the product page before quoting a total. Do not assume a flat per-pound price across cuts. ## Wholesale Restaurants, grocers, and institutional buyers order at wholesale pricing with tax-exempt status and payment terms, which requires an approved account.
