All of our Proper Beef is raised on pasture in Western North Carolina and Appalachian Mountains, farmed with "no shortcuts" - never given growth hormones or steroids, and never fed antibiotics to promote growth.

Packed as	One-pound vacuum-sealed packs. Roughly three patties per pound.
Packaging	Individually vacuum sealed, then frozen.
Condition	Ships frozen, packed with gel packs and insulation. Arrives frozen or partially frozen.
Dispatch	UPS collects from the farm any day of the week. Most of the East Coast is two business days or less by ground. Free pickup at the farm in Vilas, North Carolina.
Inspection	All of our beef is USDA inspected.
Billing	Priced per pound. Your card is authorised for slightly above the estimate, then charged only for the weight actually packed; the difference is released.
